Weingut Allram Grüner Veltliner Strass | Kamptal
A typical Grüner Veltliner. Lots of fruit and a peppery aftertaste characteristic of this grape variety. A juicy white Austrian wine with a fresh aftertaste, which makes it ideal with light dishes, or just like that.
About the winery: Michaela Allram took over her parents' winery with her husband Erich in 1992. Their 14 hectares are located in the Strassertal valley, spread over several 'layers'. Erich is a man of the vineyard and looks for the best place for each grape. Weingut Allram has 14 hectares of vineyards in the Strasser Valley in Kamptal. The vineyards are spread over different 'layers', each with its own specific characteristics. The gruner veltliner is planted on different 'layers' of the vineyard. The variation in temperature is due to the horizontal position of the vineyard. The differences in climate on a slope lead to variation in the development of the grapes and Michaela and Erich benefit from this when making this beautiful Grüner Veltliner.
